The novelist Harry Block has made his way through six psychiatrists and three marriages and has only a few friends. The chaos of his life inspires him. He is invited to receive an award at a college that he attended, but never graduated from. However, he can't find anyone to go with him. His girlfriend Fay has just left him, his best friend Richard is afraid he's about to have a heart attack; his former wife Joan refuses to let him take their son. Finally Harry manages to go to the college but there a disaster awaits him. |
